CALIFORNIA PRIVATE COLLEGE IS POSSIBLE -
AND IT MAY BE THE PATH FORWARD FOR YOU!

The California Private College Alliance (CPCA)

Expanding access to college matters for the future of our state and the countless individual students seeking to better their lives through higher education. Many students and families don’t realize today’s private colleges are within reach – so we are reaching out. The CPCA aims to help you discover the generous financial aid, extensive academic opportunities and the wide range of students served by California’s independent institutions.

The CPCA was formed in 2022 by the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), along with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Occidental College, Pomona College, Santa Clara University, Scripps College, Stanford University, and the University of Southern California.

The links below will take you to a partner institution resource page where you can find updated information
concerning admissions, financial aid, campus profiles and much more!

OUR MISSION

The Alliance aims to increase equitable access to California’s private higher education institutions by expanding coordinated outreach to historically underserved students, their families, and school counselors and working with community-based organizations and their outreach efforts.
